Lt. Col Daniel L Davis: Truth, Lies and Afghanistan

I spent last year in Afghanistan, visiting and talking with US troops and their Afghan partners. My duties with the Army's Rapid Equipping Force took me into every significant area where our soldiers engage the enemy.  Over the course of 12 months, I covered more than 9,000 miles and talked, traveled and patrolled into every significant area where our soldiers engage the enemy. I covered more than 9,000 miles and talked, traveled and patrolled with troops in Khandahar , Kunar, Ghazni, Khost, Paktika, Kunduz, Balkh, Nangarhar and other provinces. What I saw bore no resemblance to rosy official statements by US military leaders about conditions on the ground. Entering this deployment, I was sincerely hoping to learn that the claims were true: that conditions in Afghanistan were improving, that the local government and military were progressing toward self-sufficiency. I did not need to witness dramatic improvements to be reassured, but merely hoped to see evidence of positive trends, to see companies or battalions produce even minimal but sustainable progress. Instead, I witnessed the absence of success on virtually every level. My arrival in country in late 2010 marked the start of my fourth combat deployment, and my second in Afghanistan. A Regular Army officer in the Armor Branch, I served in Operation Desert Storm, in Afghanistan in 2005-08 and in Iraq in 2008-09. In the middle of my career, I spent eight years in the US Army Reserve and held a number of civilian jobs, among them, legislative correspondent for defense and foreign affairs for Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, R. Texas. As a representative for the Rapid Equipping Force, I set out to talk to our troops about their needs and their circumstances. Along the way, I conducted mounted and dismounted combat patrols, spending time with conventional and Special Forces troops.

Jon Henley: We are Kicking Pregnant Women on the Streetsi

As Greece enters its fifth straight year of "recession", the cuts deepen and the dole queues lengthen, some people are beginning to fight back. On Monday, in Plaka, Athens' old town, I met Katerina Kanelidou, 42, a leadership coach who decided she had to do something one night a couple of weeks ago, when she saw a homeless man outside the station during one of the coldest winters in memory. "Then on YouTube, I saw someone had posted a video of a pregnant woman being ejected from a homeless shelter," she said. "I was just so shocked. I was thinking, how many unemployed people are going to become homeless? And what kind of society have we become, that we are kicking homeless pregnant women on to the streets?" Realizing she had neither "the power to influence the politicians, or the money to pay for more shelters", Kanelidou decided what she could do was offer her professional experience, providing specially devised, free coaching programs for the city's unemployed, aimed at boosting their self-confidence and skills. "I just thought: I have to do something," she said. "Yes, there is real depression. Huge numbers of people are taking ant--depressants, and a lot of anger at what's happened, but the time for excuses is over now. I am so fed up with the excuses: We can't do anything, we don't have the money, the time, the right paperwork. I have all I need to do something." So Kanelidou posted on her Facebook page and emailed her contacts, offering coaching sessions to unemployed people on little or no income. She wasn't sure what the take-up would be. "People call us lazy, but we have always worked hard," she said. "There's a huge stigma to being unemployed in Greece."

Kawther.info: Yet Another Israeli Assassination Campaign

In the latest campaign of incitement of the state of terrorism, Israel against the besieged Palestinians in the Gaza concentration camp and the Hamas movement, the Israeli war criminals are using the media paid and owned by the Zionist lobby in western countries to promote their blood propaganda before they started a series of assassinations against a number of Palestinians from the West bank who were expelled to the Gaza Strip during the recent exchange of Palestinian prisoners against the French Zionist soldier Gilad Shalit, who was captured by the Palestinian resistance while shooting at Gaza civilians some years ago. During the primary campaign of bloodshed against the Palestinian civilians in Gaza, Israel accused Hamas of "planning to launch hostile campaigns which threaten the Israeli security", whatever that is supposed to mean. The Israeli intelligence instructed its underground elements in Gaza to launch a couple of rockets towards some so-called "Israeli villages" on stolen, since 1948, Palestinian land in order to justify their pre-planned aggression against blockaded Gaza. In terrorist Israel, the wrong beliefs and trumped-up suspicions which flower in the minds of its bloodthirsty generals, heirs of the terrorist organization Haganah and Palmach and their "defense" minister in the "state of Israel", become facts, become charges and accusations, and ultimately become grounds and justification for waging a fierce war on the neighboring countries in general and on the Palestinian people in Gaza and the occupied territories in special, fully in the light of knowledge of the community of nations, and under the thunderous silence and shameless complicity of a world governed by Zionist politicians, in the "western" countries and elsewhere.

Krishnendu Halder: Darpa Director Leaving Pentagonfor Google!

One of the most top-secret Pentagon departments, the same that spawned America's drones, military robots, electromagnetic guns and other sci-fi weaponry, is about to lose its top officer to Google. Regina Dugan oversaw the development of of some of the DoD's research lab is parting ways with the Pentagon to take on a role with Google. Not even three years after she took on the role as the first female director of the America's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or Darpa, Regina Dugan is now walking away to join the ranks of America's other innovative powerhouse. Dugan will be relinquishing her top role at the Defense Department's Darpa program and trading in the Potomac River for Silicon Valley, and says it is a natural decision to move somewhere where the possibilities seem endless. Apparently within the cogs of the war machine, there is only so much left to explore. Anfirming the move to a "senior executive position" with Gogle, Darpa spokesman Eric Eric Mazzacone tells Wired that Dugan couldn't refuse an offer with such an "innovative company" as the search engine giant. Until the latest news broke, however, Darpa had been touted as a creative, yet controversial research lab for space-age technology only once imaginable. Darpa has developed technologies used across the globe that can take away lives and, as seen with cutting-edge robotic limbs, practically create them. With the Defense Department scaling back on many operations and Google seemingly only growing, Dugan's departure only makes sense given the timing. Both US President Barack Obama and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta have thrown their weight behind a shift in the Pentagon's budget in an effort to save billions over the next few years. Google, on the other hand, has only increased its outreach, operating countless new endeavors and taking on new mediums.

Thirty-Seven Members of Congress Warn Against War

Thirty-seven Members of Congress sent a letter to President Obama on Friday, supporting diplomacy with Iran to resolve the nuclear issue and prevent war. The Members urge for a redoubling of bilateral and multilateral diplomatic engagement efforts with Iran to achieve transparency measures that can ensure Iran's nuclear program remains a civilian one. The letter also warns that pressure alone could lead to unintended and potentially devastating consequences, including war. The letter, below, was led by Reps Keith Ellison (D-MN) and Walter Jones (R-NC): "Dear President Obama: As tension with Iran continues to escalate, we urge your Administration to utilize all available tools of diplomacy to resolve the crisis over Iran's nuclear program and prevent another costly war in the Middle East. We have supported your Administration's efforts to unite the international community to bring about the strongest sanctions on Iran to date. Now, we must redouble our diplomatic efforts to achieve robust transparency measures that can verify Iran's nuclear program is strictly a civilian one. Without a corresponding diplomatic undertaking, we are concerned that a lack of communication with Iran could lead to a dangerous escalation with potentially devastating consequences. We hold no illusions about the abuses of the Iranian regime and are well aware that it rejected your previous diplomatic overtures. At the same time, we agree with most Americans that the United States should not enter a new war, just as we are finally ending two others. A military strike against Iran could lead to a regional war in the Middle East and attacks against US interests. Even worse, such a strike would likely compel Iran to abandon the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, eject international inspectors, and rapidly pursue a nuclear deterrent. Top military and civilian leaders have repeatedly issued warnings about the consequences of a military strike on Iran. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta cautioned that the United States "could possibly be the target of retaliation from Iran, sinking our ships, striking our military bases," and that "would not only involve many lives, but I think could consume the Middle East in a confrontation and a conflict that we would regret."

James North: Egypt is looted, and the US Press calls it Reform

One of the most annoying and dishonest features of the mainstream American media over the past couple of decades has been its use of the word "reform," without quotation marks, as shorthand for a set of controversial economic policies the United States and global institutions like the International Monetary Fund have imposed on poor nations in the global south. The word "reform" is biased. No right-thinking person could be against it. If the New York Times and the Washington Post had followed their own rules about objectivity, they would have instead used neutral terms, like "neo-liberalism," or "the Washington Consensus," and they would have pointed out that distinguished economists like Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz, along with large, vocal masses of people in the poor countries themselves, have warned for years that the "reform" policies are a slow-motion disaster. The latest evidence for the failure of neo-liberalism comes from Egypt, and even the mainstream press is finally recognizing it. In the Washington Post recently, Stephen Glain blamed the US government, the IMF and the World Bank for pushing policies that severely damaged Egyptian agriculture, to the point where the country now has to waste precious foreign exchange to import nearly all of the wheat it needs for bread, the staple food. An earlier Post article showed how the US Agency for International Development (AID) funded a Cairo think tank that vigorously promoted the "privatization" of state-run companies, public resources, and lands. Privatization, one of the tenets of the neoliberal orthodoxy, is supposed to foster competition, efficiency and economic growth.

Nile Gardiner: Barack Obama's Top Ten Insults Against Britain!

For the past two years I have published a list of Barack Obama's biggest insults against America's foremost ally, Great Britain, during his time in office. Here is an updated list to accompany President Obama's hosting this week of an official visit to the White House by the British Prime Minister, as a reminder that a basketball trip to Ohio and a bells and whistles state dinner do not erase a track record of major insults by the Obama administration since it took office. Mr Obama has been by far the most anti-British president in modern American history, kicking off his presidency with the removal of a bust of Sir Winston Churchill from the Oval Office, and continuing today with a policy of knifing Britain in the back over the Falklands. He will be all smiles and full of platitudes this week when he greets Mr Cameron in Washington, but the fact remains that for President Obama the Special Relationship has been largely a blip on his teleprompter screen, in his eyes an anachronism of a bygone era, rather than the engine of the free world. Here are the 2012 rankings: Siding with Argentina over the Falkland Islands. This has remained the top insult for three years running. For sheer offensiveness, it's hard to beat the Obama administration's brazen support for Argentina's call for UN-brokered negotiations over the sovereignty of the Falklands, despite the fact that 255 British servicemen laid down their lives to restore British rule over the Islands after they were brutally invaded in 1982. In a March 2010 press conference in Buenos Aires with President Cristina Kirchner, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave Argentina a huge propaganda coup by emphatically backing the position of the Peronist regime.

Susan Cain: Why the World Needs Introverts!

Shy, unconfident, solitary. There are many popular conceptions of introversion, most of them negative, but the reality is far more complicated. Our lives are shaped as profoundly by personality , the "north and south of temperament" as the scientist JD Higley puts it, is where we fall on the introvert-extrovert spectrum. Our place on this continuum influences our choice of friends and mates, and how we make conversation, resolve differences, and show love. It affects the careers we choose and whether or not we succeed at them. It governs how likely we are to exercise, a habit found in extroverts, commit adultery, function well without sleep, learn from our mistakes, place big bets in the stock market, delay gratification, bea good leader, and ask "what if". Its reflected in our brain pathways, neurotransmitters, and remote corners of our nervous systems. Today introversion and extroversion are two of the most exhaustively researched subjects in personality psychology, arousing the curiosity of hundreds of scientists. These researchers have made exciting discoveries aided by the latest technology, but they're part of a long and storied tradition. Poets and philosophers have made exciting discoveries aided by the latest technology, but they're part of a long and storied tradition. Poets and philosophers have been thinking about introverts and extroverts since the dawn of recorded time. Both personality types appear in the Bible and in the writings of Greek and Roman physicians, and some evolutionary psychologists say the history of these types reaches back even farther than that: the animal kingdom also boasts introverts and extroverts from fruit flies to pumpkinseed fish to rhesus monkeys.

Chris Lawrence: Marines Told to Disarm Before Panetta Speech!

US Marines waiting for Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to speak at Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan Wednesday were ordered to leave the room and place their weapons outside. The request, relayed by Sgt. Major Brandon Hall, was unusual, because it's not customary to disarm for a defense secretary visit, but the Marines did as they were told. About two dozen unarmed Afghan soldiers also were in attendance. Panetta arrived in Afghanistan Wednesday for a two-day visit amid heightened tensions, after an American soldier allegedly killed 16 Afghan civilians in their homes Sunday. The order to disarm came from Major General Mark Gurganus, who commands troops in Helmand province. Asked about the move, Hall told the New York Times' Elizabeth Bumiller: "Somebody got itchy, that's all I've got to say. Somebody got itchy, we just adjust." Gurganus later told reporters the decision had nothing to do with the weekend shooting, and said it was the Afghan soldiers in attendance were unarmed, and he did not want them treated differently than the Marines. "This is not a big deal," Gurganus said. But he then added that "you've got one of the most important people in the world in the room," referring to Panetta. When it was pointed out that this had not been the custom, Gurganus, who is new to the post, replied, "There's a new sheriff in town." A senior defense official told CNN that Gurganus made the decision to have all coalition troops disarm on Tuesday, but the order never got passed down the line to the individual units. So, unfortunately, it wasn't until all the Marines were sitting down Wednesday that anyone realized what the general really wanted. It looked bad, but at that point they needed to comply with the order."

Rosa Prince: Russia and China block British Attempts to End Syria Bloodshed

British attempts to seek an end to the bloodshed in Syria were rebuffed by Russia and China on Monday, as international divisions appeared to have grown over how to tackle the crisis. New York descended into a war of words between Hilary Clinton, the United States Secretary of State, and her Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. The increasingly heated tone of the negotiations came despite calls from Ban Ki-moon, the UN Secretary General, for the international community to speak with one voice and help Syria "pull back from the brink of a deeper catastrophe." Opening the meeting, Mr Hague said: "The situation in Syria casts a long shadow over this debate. In the eyes of the overwhelming majority of the world, this Council has so far failed in its responsibilities towards the Syrian people. "It has failed to address the brutal oppression of peaceful protesters by the Syrian regime. It is time for the Security Council to show unity and leadership." Mr Hague was chairing the Security Council debate, because the United Kingdom currently occupies the revolving chairmanship of the UN's ruling body. Britain had hoped to take advantage of the opportunity of the debate to accelerate negotiations in a series of meetings on the sidelines, possibly paving the way for a new UN resolution, which would set out a pathway towards a transfer of power from the government of President Assad. But both Russia and China made clear that they do not support regime change, and could not sign up to a resolution that did not also involve a ceasefire by the Syrian opposition. During angry exchanges, Mrs Clinton said: "We reject any equivalence between premeditated murders by a government's military machine and the actions of civilians under siege driven to self-defense."

Pravda.ru: Hillary Clinton is "Despicable"!

Hillary Clinton is an interesting case study. She started four years ago as a charming Secretary of State, the smile on the snout to wipe out the snarl of her predecessor, Condoleezza Rice and four years on, she appears on camera butch, a trucker-type probably complete with tattoos, insolent, inconsequential and incompetent. We now understand Bill. What happened to Hillary Clinton? Her credentials for the position of of Secretary of State were never that great, let us be honest: Someone who lied on camera for all to see about getting off an aircraft in the middle of a war zone in Bosnia in the 1990s when in fact she arrived to a red-carpet welcome, complete with band playing. Since when is a red carpet and a band a war zone? Right! And now, the Chief of Diplomacy of the United States of America imitates her representative at the UNO, Susan Rice, in insolence, calling Russia and China "despicable" for spoiling her war plans in Syria and beyond. Insolence is indeed the mainstay and the keyword behind US diplomacy, intrusion ditto and hypocrisy has to be the toothpick in the throat of those who try to expound Washington's virtue on the world stage. And let us be perfectly frank. Hillary Rodham Clinton had a very easy passage before her as the outwardly visible sidekick of Barack Obama, elected after eight years of a Bush regime which confirmed all the worst nightmares of the conspiracy theorists. Did she pull it off? No she didn't. For someone in her position, to label the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China as "despicable" because they exercised their right to block NATO's evil desire to make another Libya out of Syria, is a clear sign of how low US diplomacy has sunk.

MK Bhadrakumar: Delayed Obama Call Speaks Volumes.

When you delay for a whole week to get on the red telephone and enter a number, you have already said much. Especially if it was supposed to be a congratulatory phone call. The delay tells the caller that you, in fact, are not bursting with happiness, that it is just a matter of following the rules of protocol, communicating with someone with whom you may be forced to negotiate. There is no doubt that President Barack Obama said much in missing an entire week, from Monday to Friday, on the last working day of the week, and only then calling Vladimir Putin, elected president of Russia, to present congratulations on his election victory on March 4th. In short, Obama made it clear that he was not in a hurry, and therefore had little interest in that election. However, Moscow understood the message very well. Obama's western counterparts had already phoned a long time ago. Of course, the State Department spoke out immediately after the election day on the 4th. Interestingly, the State Department congratulated the Russian people. Putin's name is not even mentioned in the declaration. Washington made it implicit that US interests will guide its policy towards Russia, that men make no difference. Then the State Department began to demand investigations into irregularities in the elections, despite the fact that the results pointed to "a clear winner with an absolute majority of votes." In short, Washington continues to give "sermons" about the slow progress in Russia on western-style liberal "democracy." Washington was mindful of the public reaction in Russia. It must have been finally convinced and hugely disappointed that there would be no 'color revolution' there. Even the western media, which shows 'demode' (old fashioned) an archaic attitude, with a Cold War-style liberal "democracy."

Emily Lawrence: Palestinian Christians Attacked by Zionists.

Christ at the Checkpoint: "Hope in the Midst of Conflict" was a five-day event organized by Bethlehem Bible College earlier this month. Christian theologians, academics and church leaders were invited to meet with the local Palestinian church and challenge the Christian Zionist influence within the evangelical movement. The conference attracted major speakers both from within the Palestinian Christian community, as well as international evangelicals, including Tony Campolo. Gary Burge, Stephen Sizer, John Ortberg and Shane Claiborne. Messianic Jewish speakers were also invited. "This is a conference about sitting down together, Christians, Muslims, whoever comes, discussing theology, in this environment of occupation," Alex Awad of Bethlehem Bible College told The Electronic Intifada. "We want people to come, see the wall, see the checkpoints, see the reality on the ground, and then open the Bible." The bottom line is the reality of God and his goodness, and the reality of this occupation. Because as Palestinian Christians we face this every day," Awad added. "We go to church and we learn God is good, but to get to our church we have to go through a checkpoint. How do we figure out the goodness of God with the harsh realities on the ground? That is what the conference is all about." According to the Christ at the Checkpoint website, its main aims were to empower the Palestinian church, expose injustice in Palestine, and to motivate participants to engage in reconciliation. Topics ranged from the role of Palestinian women in ministry, to the theology of the land and biblical principles of justice and nonviolence. One of the most prominent themes, however, was using the Bible to challenge the theology of Christian Zionism!

The Excavator: Dangerous Misreading of Obama's 2012 AIPAC Speech.

The Dangerous Misreading of Obama's 2012 AIPAC Speech by the Stupid Anti-War Left. There is a narrative, mainly endorsed by the stupid anti-war left, that President Obama is still on the fence on a war with Iran, and is keeping Israel at bay. Proponents of this narrative say that Obama's speech at the 2012 AIPAC conference was strategically titled towards the side of diplomacy in dealing with Iran instead of war. They point to key phrases that were cushioned in the heart of the speech such as "there is too much loose talk of war," and "now is not the time for bluster. Now is the time to let our increased pressure sink in, " as proof that Obama is trying to avoid war, but still mindful of Israel's sensitivities. That is bullshit. If Obama was trying to avoid a war with Iran, then he wouldn't commit the United States to a sanctions program that paves the path to an inevitable clash down the road. As Colonel Wilkerson told the Alyona show on Russia Today on March 1st, sanctions are not diplomacy. Obama's problem with Israel's "loose talk of war," is that it is too honest and transparent. He wants to take a quiet, sneaky approach, so that when war with Iran finally dawns, it won't have to be announced to the American public. It will become a matter of fate, not politics. Obama wants to replace Israel's war drums with war flutes. As he said in his speech, "Now is the time to heed the timeless advice from Teddy Roosevelt: "Speak softly, and carry a big stick." This is not clever peace talk by a peace-minded president: This is code for,"Gangsters don't make noise before they strike their prey. They walk up silently, smoothly, and the victim drops dead before he even knows what happened." If Obama was aiming for peace and diplomacy, he wouldn't be carrying any stick.

Benjamin Schett: The Myth of the "New Holocaust"

In a pattern of propaganda now well-established in the mainstream media, fear-mongering against Iran is reaching an all-time peak. A case in point includes ongoing accusations that Iran is in violation of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty, despite statements to the contrary from US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta as well as a number of American intelligence officials. In addition, claims that Iran is involved in terrorist activities were released by the Obama administration, fabricating an Iranian conspiracy with the goal to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador to the US. Most recently, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Iran of having planned terrorist attacks in India, Georgia and Thailand. As it stands, the intensification of propaganda is fuelling an anti-Iranian proxy conflict in Syria and creating the serious danger of aggression against Iran in the coming months by Israel's extremist government and/or the Obama administration. These media fabrications also do not question why the prospect of a nuclear-armed Iran would increase worldwide tensions so much more than the hyper-developed nuclear weapons programs of countries like Israel and the United States, notwithstanding the fact that there is no existing proof that suggests that Iran is doing anything other than developing a peaceful civilian atomic program. Opponents of possible armed aggression against Iran are regularly accused of repeating the mistakes from the period prior to World War II, namely of not taking seriously the purportedly dangerous eliminatory "anti-Semitism" of the Iranian regime. This charge is echoed by the Anti-Defamation League, one of the biggest pro-Zionist US groups, who is lobbying for taking any "necessary" measures in order to overthrow the Iranian government and its president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: "Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's anti-Semitic and anti-Israel views place him and the Iranian regime among the foremost threats to Jews and the state of Israel."

Pravda.Ru: CIA AGENT CLAIMS AMERICANS DID NOT KILL bin LADEN!

Obama bin Laden died a natural death nearly 5 years before it was announced that he was eliminated by the American commandos. This sensational statement was made by a Turkish politician, and a former US intelligence agent. In an interview with Russia's Channel One, he said that the Americans simply found and opened the tomb of the leader of al-Qaeda. The journalists of Channel One first met this man in 2008. At the time, he was featured in the documentary "Plan Caucasus," talking about the attempts of the Western Intelligence services in the early 1990's to separate the Northern Caucasus and, in particular, Chechnya from Russia. Chechen by nationality, Berkan Yashar is now a Turkish politician, but in those years he was one of the ideologists of Johar Dudayev. He asked for a meeting, promising to tell the truth about the death of Osama bin Laden, whom he met in the early 90-ies in Chechnya. "In September of 1992, I was in Chechnya, that's when I first met the man whose name was Bin Laden. This meeting took place in a two-story house in the city of Grozny. On the top floor was a family of Gamsakhurdia, the Georgian president, who then was kicked out of his country. We met on the bottom floor - Osama lived in the same building," said Berkan Yashar. Berkan said he did not know why bin Laden visited while in Grozny, and said only one thing about his meetings: "We just wanted to talk." However, according to Channel one, in those years the former employee of Radio Liberty Berkan Yashar already had an operational name Abubakar, given to him by the CIA. According to Berkan, after that trip Chechen nationals appeared in Osama bin Laden's circle.

ppjg.me: False Flag Operation Prototype for the Coming War with Iran

Last night at the gym, after my usual stint at the pullup bar and the leg extension ad leg curl machines, I proceeded to the treadmill. I was there for an hour at varying speeds and inclines throughout the 60 minutes The ceiling-suspended television sets for tread-millers at this particular training location in San Antonio always involve ESPN, one of the major networks when it offers a bad soap opera or sit-com, ad the incessant droning of the CNN newsroom where the presence of Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper proves especially annoying and wearisome, although informative in ways not intended by the "Masters of Corporate Media." Last night was more of the same. I was stationed in front of CNN during my treadmill session. Wolf Blitzer was interviewing a Fred Burton of Stratfor Global Intelligence based in Austin, Texas. Mr. Burton is their Vice-President for Counter-terrorism and Corporate Security. The subject was the mysterious January 16th, 2012 killing of Iranian medical student Gelareh Bagherzadeh, age 30, a woman with a profile as an activist in the Iranian women's rights movement and professionally based at Houston's MD Anderson Medical Center. She was found slumped over the wheel of her car after being shot in the head once by an unknown (Israeli) assailant. The crime took place at the site of the wealthy housing estate in Houston, where her family lived. Houston police summoned after the gunfire found Ms. Bagherzadeh's vehicle crashed into the door of a garage with the engine still running and the tires spinning. She had apparently been speaking on her mobile phone to an ex-boyfriend at the time of her death. She was a coordinator of a Houston-based organization called SabzHouston. Their web site reveals a strong affiliation with the Green Movement, and the past Presidential campaign in Iran of Mir Hossein Mousavi.

Mothman 777: Israel Is The Greatest Threat To The World

Israel says they have nuclear missiles aimed at cities all over Europe, which they curiously and insanely regard as 'hostile', this being the preferred choice of target of the Israeli Air Force. Israel routinely calls the USA 'anti-semitic' too. Does anything strike you as being a little odd about that? Like what the hell are we fighting for Israel for? If you want to do something to protect your security, address the issue of the Samson Option every day to your media and to all the others til that threat is properly dealt with. Demand that it be the topmost issue from among all others until those Israeli nukes are confiscated. That is the only threat the whole world faces, not Iraq, mot Afghanistan, not Libya, not Iran or any other nation but Israel, the gangster bully boys. During an interview with Alah Hart, the then Israeli premier Golda Meir twice stated that Israel was prepared to destroy the whole world with nuclear weapons if ever faced military defeat. She and others have used this obscene blackmail, justifying it with the thought that we were all only ever created just to serve them, and that if we ever fail in this duty, then we are all to be quite justifiably punished by extermination. This is your security issue above all others. On July 4, 1934 a Jewish man named Leo Szilard filed a patent application for the atomic bomb in England. Since then, every single type of nuclear weapon device known to man without exception, has been invented by Jews. I think they just killed the entire planet but haven't quite realized that yet, hence the persistent overkill. The rubbish stories about how valuable Israeli technology is to the world are, to say the least, quite mad. They have one of the largest biological and chemical warfare research groups in the entire world, developing gene-specific weapons to kill off all those nasty races of goyim.

Three World Wars: New World Order Definition!

The term New World Order has been used by numerous politicians through the ages, and is a genetic term used to refer to a worldwide conspiracy being orchestrated by an extremely powerful and influential group of genetically-related individuals which include many of the world's wealthiest people, top political leaders, corporate elite, as well as members of the so-called "Black Nobility" of Europe, dominated by the British Crown, whose goal is to create a One World Fascist Government, stripped of nationalistic and regional boundaries, that is obedient to their agenda. According to Zionist banker, Paul Warburg, "We will have a world government whether you like it or not. The only question is whether that government will be achieved by conquest or consent. Their intention is to effect complete and total control over every human being on the planet and to dramatically reduce the world's population by two thirds. While the name "New World Order" is the term most frequently used today to loosely refer to anyone involved in this conspiracy, the study of exactly who makes up this group is a complex and intricate one. For further research sources, please see the side bar on the left: End Time Deception, Educate Yourself.org, Bilderberg.org, Illuminati News, Illumin8.com, Conspiracy Archive, Texe Marrs.com, David Icke.com. Why the Conspiracy is Unknown: The sheer magnitude and complex web of deceit surrounding the individuals and organizations involved in this conspiracy is mind-boggling, even for those most astute among us.

Albert Pike and Three World Wars

Albert Pike received a vision, which he described in a letter he wrote to Mazzini, dated August 15, 1871. This letter graphically outlined plans for three world wars that were seen as necessary to bring about the One World Order, and we can marvel at how accurately it has predicted events that have already taken place. It is a commonly believed fallacy that for a short time, the Pike letter to Mazzini was on display in the British Museum Library in London, and it was copied by William Guy Carr, former Intelligence Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy. The British Library has confirmed in writing to me that such a document has never been in their possession. Furthermore, in Carr's book, Satan, Prince of this World, Carr includes the following footnote: "The Keeper of Manuscripts recently informed the author that this letter is NOT cataloged in the British Museum Library. It seems strange that a man of Cardinal Rodriguez's knowledge should have said that it WAS in 1925". It appears that Carr learned about this letter from Cardinal Caro y Rodriguez of Santiago, Chile, who wrote The Mystery of Freemasonry Unveiled. To date, no conclusive proof exists to show that this letter was ever written. Nevertheless, the letter is widely quoted and the topic of much discussion. Following are apparently extracts of the letter, showing how Three World Wars have been planned for many generations. The First World War must be brought about in order to permit the Illuminati to overthrow the power of the Czars in Russia, and of making that country a fortress of atheistic Communism. British and Germanic Empires will be used to foment this war. The Second World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences between the Fascists and the political Zionists. During this Second World War, Communism will be strong enough to begin taking over weaker governments. The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of of the differences between the political Zionists and the leaders of the Islamic World, while the Jews and the Arabs destroy each other.

Albert Pike: Three Word Wars. Who was Albert Pike?

Very few outsiders know about the intimate plans of Albert Pike and the architects of the New World Order. In the 19th Century Albert Pike established a framework for bringing about the One World Order. Based on a vision revealed to him, Albert Pike wrote a blueprint of events that would play themselves out in the 20th century, with even more of these events yet to come. It is this blueprint which we believe unseen leaders are following today, knowingly or not, to engineer the planned Third and Final World War. Albert Pike was born on December 29, 1809, in Boston, and was the oldest of six children born to Benjamin and Sarah Andrews Pike. He studied at Harvard, and later served as Brigadier-General in the Confederate Army. After the Civil War, Pike was found guilty of treason and jailed, only to be pardoned by fellow Freemason President Andrew Johnson on April 22, 1867.  Scottish Rite officials conferred upon Johnson the 4th to 32nd Freemason degrees, and he later went to Boston to dedicate a Masonic Temple. Pike was said to be a genius, able to read and write in 16 different languages, although I cannot find a record anywhere of what those languages were. In addition, he is widely accused of plagiarism, so take with a pinch of salt. At various stages of his life he was a poet, philosopher, frontiersman, soldier, humanitarian and philanthropist. A 33rd degree Mason, he was one of the founding fathers, and head of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, being the Grand Commander of North American Freemasonry from 1859 and retained that position until his death in 1891. In 1869, he was a top leader in the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.

Evidence of War Lies Pre-War This Time!!

When President George W Bush was pretending to avoid a war on Iraq, while constantly pushing laughably bad propaganda to get the war going, we had a feeling he was lying. After all. he was a Republican, but it was after the war was raging that we came on things like the Downing Street Minutes and the White House Memo. Now President Barack Obama is pretending to want to avoid a war on Iran and to want Israel not to start one, while constantly pushing laughably bad propaganda to get that war going. We might suspect a lack of sincerity, given the insistence that Iran put an end to a program that the US government simultaneously says there is no evidence exists, given the increase in free weapons for Israel to $3.1 billion next year, given the ongoing protection of Israel at the UN from any accountability for crimes, given the embrace of sanctions highly unlikely to anything other than greater prospects of war, and given Obama's refusal to take openly illegal war "off the table." We might suspect that peace was not the ultimate goal, except of course, that Obama is a Democrat. However, we now have Wikileaks cables and comments from anonymous officials that served as the basis for a report from the Israeli newspaper Haaretz: "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu requested that the United States approve the sale of advanced refueling aircraft, as well as GBU-28 bunker-piercing bombs to Israel during a recent meeting with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, a top US official said on Tuesday." The American official said that US President Barack Obama instructed Panetta to work directly with Defense Minister Ehud Barack on the matter."

James Petras: China's Rise, Fall, and Re-Emergence!

The study of world power has been blighted by Euro-centric historians who have distorted and ignored the dominant role China played in the world economy between 1100 and 1800. John Hobson's brilliant historical survey of the world economy during this period provides an abundance of empirical data making the case for China's economic and technological superiority over Western civilization for the better part of a millennium prior to its conquest and decline in the 19th century. China's re-emergence as a world economic power raises important questions about what we can learn from its previous rise and fall and about the external and internal threats confronting this emerging economic superpower for the immediate future. First, we will outline the main contours of historical China's rise to global economic superiority over the West before the 19th century, following closely John Hobson's account in The Eastern Origins of Western Civilization. Since the majority of western economic historians (liberal, conservative, and Marxist) have presented historical China as a stagnant, backward, parochial society, an "oriental despotism", some detailed correctives will be necessary. It is especially important to emphasize how China, the world technological power between 1100 and 1800, made the West's emergence possible. It was only by borrowing and assimilating Chinese innovations that the West was able to make the transition to modern capitalist and imperial economies.

Pravda.ru: The Insolence of Obama!

President Obama may be a lot of things, but one thing he most certainly is, is insolent. On receiving the Chinese Vice-President Xi Jinping, the man who insulted the Nobel Peace Prize and is now labeled Obomber, dared to lecture his guest on human rights. One hopes that Xi Jinping answered him in kind. To receive someone in your house and to lecture them, is perhaps the epitome of insolence. To receive someone in your house and to lecture them, not for something they have done, but which the host himself has done, and a lot, is utterly unacceptable and underlines the fact that CIA-toyboy Barack Hussein "Obomber" is a one-term President about to disappear into the sewer of wannabe failure has-beens, perhaps to market the Obama Family Chilli recipe, complete with packed chilli powder, which he recently disgraced his Facebook account with. One hopes that the Chinese Vice-President had the guts to respond in kind, but one fears that he may have been too polite to answer as follows: Neither does the People's Republic of China opine when the United States of America invades countries illegally outside the auspices of the United Nations Organization, nor does the USA have any right to stick its nose into the internal sovereign affairs of another country, especially when most of the trouble around is caused directly by the USA's arming terrorists or supporting internal dissent.

Benjamin Shett: The Myth of the "New Holocaust"

In a pattern of propaganda now well-established in the mainstream media, fear-mongering against Iran is reaching an all-time peak. A case in point includes ongoing accusations that Iran is in violation of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty, despite statements to the contrary from US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta as well as a number of American intelligence officials. In addition, claims that Iran is involved in terrorist activities were released by the Obama administration, fabricating an Iranian conspiracy with the goal to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador to the US. Most recently, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Iran of having planned terrorist attacks in India, Georgia and Thailand. As it stands, the intensification of propaganda is fueling an anti-Iran proxy conflict in Syria and creating the serious danger of aggression against Iran in the coming months by Israel's extremist government and/or the Obama administration. Opponents of possible armed aggression against Iran are regularly accused of repeating the mistakes from the period prior to World War II,, namely of not taking seriously the purportedly dangerous "anti-Semitism" of the Iranian regime. This change is echoed by the Anti-Defamation League, one of the biggest pro-Zionist US groups, who is lobbying for taking any "necessary" measures in order to overthrow the Iranian government.
